You wouldn’t be in this predicament in the first place if you had just kept them indoors and sterilized the one male you had at the beginning. Now you’re ending up feeding 44 mouths, which undoubtedly costs more over the course of a year than the original sterilizations would have costed, and you’re having to bed people to help.

My best wishes to you all and the cats, but I can’t help but shake my head at the silliness of this.

I live in the US and it is VERY HARD to find good homes for cats here too. I rescued 9 newborn kittens in April and bottle-fed them for a month and a half until they could be weaned. We gave one away to a family friend. My mom and I took the others to VAP (Volunteers for Animal Protection) for their shots, and we took them to a local pet store every weekend for 2 months until 5 of them were adopted. (I like VAP, because they require people who adopt their cats to spay/neuter them. They have to put a deposit down, which they get back once the cat is spayed/neutered.) We kept 3 of the kittens. Now we have 5 total (because we already had 2).

I will keep my fingers crossed that everything works out for you and your family too!

I’ve also felt a lil down with some people’s comments and that helped a lil’ to me to ignore this site. After much pondering, and with your consntant support I’m feeling better and stronger. Those words will not put me down again. that is my promise to you!

The kittens are doing fine, btw! We’ve managed to give 14 to good homes in the last 2 months! It’s already a victory!

To all the ones who have been asking about the price of the mug: it is $16.95 for the larger one in white; $15.95 for a small one in white and $16.48 for the small one in black.

the price of a neuter operation is rounding 100-160 euros, depending if its male or female and counting also with 1 post-operation care’s consultation in the vet, that is obviously very much needed, so the kittens don’t get anything bad due to the operation.
